Permanent exhibition
Ships of All Times
‘Ships of All Times’ is a treasure trove of model ships and ship portraits. Traversing centuries and vessels, visitors encounter the ships and their cargoes.
See the mail steamer HERMOD, the tanker ANGLO MÆRSK, and the Danish America steamship FREDERIK VIII. You can explore the details of the bark, the coaster JYTTE BEWA, and the sloop ERNA.
A fleet of ship portraits
At the same time you can see a large fleet of ships from the museum’s collection of ship portraits sail across the wall in a parade spanning the centuries.
The exhibition ‘Ships of All Times’ is located at the end of the dock, where the interior of the museum meets the raw exterior of the dock, symbolically reflecting the graceful power of the ships.
